Octuplets' mum signs rich TV deal

The California mother of octuplets born earlier this year has signed a $250,000 (£152,000) deal for all 14 of her children to star in a reality TV show.

Nadya Suleman, dubbed "Octo-Mom" by the media, inked the deal with European TV company Eyeworks, reports say.

Contracts filed with a Los Angeles court say the children will earn the money over a three-year period.

The contract specifies that 15% of the income will be placed in a trust fund that the children will only be able access at age 18, as required by California law.

$125,0000 / 14 children = $8928.57 per child / 36 days = $248.02 per day per child / 8 hours = $31.00 per hour

$75,000 / 14 children = $5357.14 per child / 21 days = $255.10 per day per child / 8 hours = $31.89 per hour

$50,000 / 14 children = $3571.43 per child / 14 days = $255.10 per day per child / 8 hours = $31.89 per hour

Pretty cheap pay for child stars - I wonder how that compares to other reality TV "stars?"

The woman is bat shit crazy and not in a good way, she's controlling and paranoid and when she begins to feel that film footage might be used against her it won't be pretty.
