House probe of covert CIA program could target Cheney
Source: The Raw Story

Vice President Dick Cheney isn’t out of the reeds just yet.

In a little noticed statement Friday, the House Intelligence Subcommittee on Intelligence and Investigations announced they will begin a full investigation into charges that the CIA misled congress about a covert spy operation that had been going on for nearly 8 years before it was canceled by CIA Director Leon Panetta last month.

“The House Intelligence Committee will move forward with a full investigation that will explore certain CIA programs and the core issue of how the committee is kept informed,” Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL), the committee’s chairwoman, said in a statement late Friday.

“My subcommittee will take the lead on significant portions of the investigation;” the congresswoman continues. “We will explore instances where the Congress was not informed in a timely way and situations in which laws may have been broken.”

1. "Could..."?? Get serious!
That evil son of a bitch is neck deep in corruption and evil deeds. I still say I want his hide hanging on the smokehouse wall before I die. God only knows, enough other innocent Iraqi's and Americans have suffered and died under this spawn-of-the-devil's handiwork.

3. The 'evil son of a bitch' has a serious heart condition...

surely they wouldn't want to stress him out with embarrassing questions
that might produce a major organ failure. Please, we are civilized,
there must be rules.

Just grill moderately over a medium flame. That's all that is allowed.
Should the questioning cause a major organ to fail, then they've gone
too far and should back off a little... civilized, you understand.

But if the questioning goes too far and is too much, well, then
we know they did their best.
In good faith.

Civilized, I say.

9. but slowly.. 187 times, but remember at all times: we are different from him.
we only act within the bounds of law.
we are, after all, not criminals.
We are civilized.

that Yoo memo?)

13. but isn't that the memo that sez grilling isn't torure unless an organ fails.... pity..
looks like we'll just have to rely on our memory of the Yoo memo.
In good faith, of course.

So do you think it said 'BBQ dry rub' was allowed?
Try to recall (in good faith) as we wouldn't want anyone to
break the law here.

But its seems it must have been there, for if grilling is allowed
then shouldn't we also take it that the necessities of grilling must
also be allowed?

Therefore if 'dry rub' were allowed, then perhaps a 'salt rub' would be the
next best thing if you ran out of 'dry rub'. In fact I think they ought
to try out a 'salt rub' anyway to see if it works better than 'dry rub'.
Try it out in good faith. Rub the salt in real good. Then continue grilling.
Just as long as it doesn't cause major organ failure.

See, this stuff isn't so hard. Any brain damaged moron can draft a Yoo memo.
After all, one did.

4. they defend the Constitution until it 'doesn't apply to them' - Cheney should go to prison

or at least be settled in a nice place near the equator for a time out. I know of a place near Cuba.
