4. Those two were probably related events
One of the symptoms of brain tumor is increased cranial pressure which can manifest as decreased peripheral vision. The pedestrian probably never registered in his visual field. Unless he has been very fortunate with treatment, we should be seeing his obit any time now.

Fighting cancer.. I agree with almost nothing the man stands for.. but I am cheering him on to kick that horrible diease in the teeth as long as he has the breath and will to do so..
