Huckabee+Romney=the next GOP presidential candidate?
Let's see..

Huckabee: born-again Southerner, has a lot of personality, sense of humor, etc., adored by social conservatives

Romney: rich business asshole who the wealthy love

These two seem to be the most popular types of Republican among the GOP. Their strongest candidate, IMO, would be a combination of the two. Kinda like George W. Bush.

4. It's got to be Huckabee. Even some lefties profess to like him "as a person".

5. Like McCane.....these 2, Hucky and Mitt....are "Throwaway Candidates"
They will lose

Unless...Obama is a failure with poor numbers in the 30's...maybe 20's....odds indicate this would be not forth coming

GOP desperate to save face for 2016 elections....

By then GOP buried under 4 losing elections and a paradigm shift with voters who tire of nit picking and BS...The GOP will most likely become moot....

6. Huck has issues with the pre-established GOP.
Also his views on the environment are too liberal for them.

Romney is pretty much universally hated on Freak Republic, and he can't win without them and others like them.

7. At this time my bet is Huckabee
I doubt the money changers have any great love for him but he has shown he doesn't mind being on the payroll.

Unless they can dig up a "diamond in the rough" from somewhere they pretty much will have to like Mike, he's got the unusual mix for a Republic of not being universally despised, base street cred, and the ability to put together a coherent sentence.
