Question about election bumperstickers:
In the history of presidential elections, has any era other than the current one ever left their stickers on their car in support for the winner/loser three years after the election? I mean, it's appalling how many ignorami still sport BUSH/CHENEY and W'04 stickers in favor of the Moran-in-Chump! (Of course, I don't mind the Kerry/Edwards stickers still out there, in favor of the REAL winner!)

1. I carry a black sharpie with me
and whenever I see one of those, I write in 'impeach' over the W. Got caught once and the guy just busted out laughing and gave me a thumbs up.

So far I have seen 3 of my handiwork still on the vehicles...either they are really stupid and haven't noticed it yet, OR they agree.

3. My mom left her
McGovern bumper sticker on her car well into Carter's Presidency. Actually she never took it off just traded the car in eventually.

4. the left them on to rub it in
They were graceless in apparent victory.
The Chimp's antics have caused them to do what good taste could not.
Only the dimmest Repbulicon dolts will admit to having even heard of Dubya now.
It's much like the apparent sudden extinction of the Nixon voters in '74. He got elected, but no one would admit voting for him.
Consider those stickers to be warnings: Stay Back -Imbecile at the wheel!

7. 2 types of drivers have them in my area
1. Big, shiny, obnoxious pickup trucks or SUVs carrying affluent ex-urbans to and from their McMansions.

2. Rundown beaters containing what I'm guessing have to be "values voters". 'Cause they sure ain't being helped by GOP economic policies.

George (McGovern)" for years and years and years. Now I've dated myself!
