MJ's kids were born into a freak show. They didn't know him when he was a sweet kid like we do.

They only knew the drug addicted post career cosmetic surgery creation he is now.

From their perspective, he never lived much in the US, he was always in airplanes and hotels in foreign countries, and always in court.

I'm a year younger than michael. When I think of him, I think of an entirely different person than the one who raised them. Their image of Dad will never correspond with the world's.

Have these kids ever gone to school? Do they have friends of their own? Do they know how to form appropriate attachments, other than with hired help?

Now, they'll have to address the issue of the mother who gave them up, and the fact that Dad couldn't sustain relationships with women.

How will the religious conflicts play out in their lives?

How much are they bonded with Janet and the brothers? His parents?

He died in debt, will they have anything to live on?

Will anyone on this planet ever do anything for them without alterior, exploitive motives?

It's an endless abyss, from their point of view.

1. I feel sorry for them because their "father" is dead and their mother doesn't seem to want them.
Of course, if they have a biological father somewhere who does, I sure hope he steps up.

2. As far as I know, it was MJ's sperm, so, there is no other donor.

3. Not according to Countdown tonight.
Olbermann said that the children share no biological identity with the Jacksons, and then he had a guest on who said it is a known fact that Michael was not their biological father. Just saying what they said.

6. Did you also hear her say that everyone knows who the biological father is?
Hmm.

8. Yes I did. She wondered if he might step forward now.
Their conversation was so matter of fact about it that I felt like this was something everyone must know except me. LOL I just don't believe Olbermann would have said that if he wasn't sure of it's being the truth.

4. We don't KNOW Michael Jackson or what kind of father he was.
Edited on Fri Jun-26-09 08:28 PM by Avalux
The only Michael Jackson we know is what we've been told by the press, the paparazzi. I feel terribly sad for his children and I sincerely hope they will be cared for by his family and perhaps their mother(s) will be involved; we don't even know the mother of the youngest. Their lives, for sure, will never be normal but perhaps they can be stable with loving people around them. My wish for them is to grow into adults who remember their father with love and are proud of his many contributions as a musical artist.

10. We know for a fact that he's the kind that would dangle his baby over a balcony.
That would name one son Prince Michael and the other Prince Michael II -- and then call him Blanket.

That he was the kind of father who would force his children to wear face veils and masks in public and who isolated them inside their home, not allowing them to attend any kind of school or sport or regular children's activity.

We know that he's the kind of father who has said in public that he thinks sleeping in a bed with a preteen is the highest expression of love.

5. With all due respect, you don't know what they knew.
How could you? I find this post incomprehensibly presumptuous.
