What's Missing From The Sanford Saga Plot? Hmmm... Maybe a Paramour?

Each of the Sanford story explanations has had a bigger hole in it than that suffered by the Titanic.

Consider the different cover stories, attempts to misled the press, the failure to tell his wife where he was going, etc. Does this sound familiar for a politician caught doing something they would rather not become public?

This has potential for a novel or screenplay. Any ideas what is yet to be revealed here?

where he went or why. That's an issue for SC voters to consider.

I am seriously weary of this topic. Every other post here seems to have to do with Sanford and his peripatetic adventure.

If there's an issue, South Carolina voters will have their say. Unless he did something illegal, it should b of no interest to anyone else.

Everyone with a theory is posting an OP about Sanford. If he did nothing illegal, there's no reason for so many posts and so many theories.

TPM reports: "He(Sanford) tells a reporter from The State that he considered hiking the Appalachian Trail, but decided he "wanted to do something exotic" instead. Sanford says he went alone, and that he spent time driving along the coast."

So now we are to believe that Sanford changed his mind at the last minute and bought an airline ticket to Argentina, so he could spend 'time ALONE driving along the coast'??

And then he changes the return airline ticket to a different airport to avoid the media.

That means he paid a premium for a 'walkup' last minute ticket purchase, and paid a 'change' premium to return at a different airport. A US Airways ticket on Orbitz shows that the cost would be $1798 EACH WAY + Change Premium, for a total of over $3200.00.
