This college educated, lovely woman, who with her husband opened a Christian book store and with seven children of her own obviously knows what it's like to be a poor youngster with few opportunities to whom the motivation of hunger will obviously cause him or her to turn to virtuous work at the local burger joint, garage, corner grocery - or WalMart. There's also tons of summer jobs available at the many generous family farms where there is a need for seasonal hands to help with the harvest :sarcasm: Cynthia, dear, the reality is they have to compete with their parents for those few low-paying retail jobs left as the economy is drying up and with undocumented workforce in the factory farms that have replaced the family farms that used to dot the country. There are fewer jobs available than there are hungry teens willing to work them. But there are those for profit workhouses they call county and state prisons...just let the little darlings start stealing or acting out in illegal ways, and they'll have their jobs, meals, and places to sleep - all on the taxpayer dime.
Oh, yes, Cynthia's a Republican.
