Compare & contrast, why aren't the Iranian police beating the protesteros with their batons?

Why aren't the Iranian police using their pipe guns on the crowd, when both are peaceful protests?

You can't be serious...

Please say you're not serious.

Please?

(but just in case, I pulled these of the first page of Googling "Iran Protests"

Foreign journalists have been banned from the protets and Iran has largely locked down the internet to the extent that that's possible. I just provided you with three links and could easily provide more if I wasn't about to leave the office.

If you're of a mind that the Iranian protests have been nothing but peaceful demonstrations with the militians and Iranian Guards standing by watching, then I'd invite you to go join them and see for yourself. If you really believe that the two videos you showed account for the majority of whats going on in either the US or Iran, you're off your nut.

But, Since you asked...

News reporter states seven people killed in protests and "riot police use batons to break up crowds" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tWozRk-kDxE

"Demonstator shot dead in Terhan." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BzwWFiHPYI4

"Violent clashes in the streets of Iran's capitol targeting opposition leaders". This one has lots of police smashing into people with batons and riot shields. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mDaCIHX_M7k

So I ask again...ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

P.S. I found all of those on PAGE ONE of doing a search on YouTube for "Iran Protests." How hard can it be? Do your homework...

7. I’m not going to say there hasn’t been some violence but there

hasn’t been a complete mowing down of the protesters by the police, at least not yet.

5. LA? Los Angeles is one bizarre place. I'm not even sure I wanna call it part of the USA.
I mean, Octomom and Jacko?

40 police cruisers to pull over one Bronco.

LA is whack.
