5. Virginian here, born and bred. Trust me, if you knew Creigh Deeds, he would have had your vote.

7. McAuliffe is a Professional Election Loser
His tenure as DNC chair (2001-04) will go down as some of the worst years in the history of the party.

12. Repuke results are a nightmare (for them)
Edited on Tue Jun-09-09 07:39 PM by DainBramaged

Bill H. Cleaveland 522 28.40% Precincts Reporting:
15 of 30 (50%)

Voter Turnout:
1,838 of 52,184 active voters (3.522%)
1,838 of 53,060 total voters (3.464%) Votes by County/City

Christopher T. Head 489 26.60%

Michael A. "Mike" Wray 479 26.06%

Josh C. Johnson 191 10.39%

Melvin E. Williams 157 8.54%

Could be a three-way tie for mediocrity.

More people turn out for a minor league ball game than turned out to vote for repukes in the Virginia House

17. Deeds has been said to be the best chance against
Bob McDonnell, in November. They ran against each other in 2005 for attorney general, and McDonnell won by only 323 votes. I look forward to Deeds kicking McDonnell's butt come November.
