Our Mangos are here, Our Mangos are here
You know, the ones that Smirky traded our nukular secrets for.

U.S.-India Business Council Plans Mango Festival

http://news.yahoo.com/s/usnw/20070405/pl_usnw/u_s__india_business_council_plans_mango_festival

WASHINGTON, April 4 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today, the U.S.-India Business Council (USIBC) met with U.S. Trade Representative, Ambassador Susan Schwab, to advocate for import of Indian mangoes to the United States this season.

"The possibility of mango export to the U.S. assumes commercial as well as symbolic significance, as access to the global marketplace will benefit Indian farmers and consumers, together with their American counterparts," USIBC's president, Ron Somers, said.

The Bush administration, working through the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, the U.S. Department of Commerce, and the U.S.
Department of Agriculture, is actively clearing the way for Indian mango exports to the U.S. this harvest season. USIBC's member-companies are spearheading the private sector lobbying effort to ensure these exports.

"The U.S.-India Business Council hopes to host in Washington, D.C. the first-ever Indian Mango-Tasting Festival this harvest season -- at USIBC's 32nd Anniversary 'Global India' Summit," Ron Somers said.

And for those of you who say "Oh, how could Smirky give away our nukular secrets for mangos?" and doubt me:

US and India seal nuclear accord

And he said "the US is looking forward to eating Indian mangoes", under an agreement to expand trade in farm products.

(I just can't seem to be sarcastic enough this evening)

17. Well I hope they were fertilized with melamine and preserved with aminopterin
I mean, I wouldn't want people to pay too much for year round availability of mangoes. We deserve cheap mangoes all year round.
