Sign that the apocalypse approaches? Right wing leader attacks Cheney
A conservative Christian political activist accuses former Vice President Dick Cheney of advocating "sexual anarchy."

Matt Barber, director of cultural affairs with Liberty Counsel, says Cheney's love for his lesbian daughter has "clouded his judgment."

"If freedom to marry means, as he said, that people ought to be free to enter into any kind of union they wish, well then, he's virtually endorsing polyamory and polygamy, and incestuous marriage, and bestiality," Barber claims. " no holds barred here."

The Liberty Counsel attorney notes that Cheney is even further to the left on the marriage issue than President Obama. Although Obama supports the repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act and advocates for "civil unions," he opposes same-sex marriage.

3. Yeah, I don't see that as a vast improvement in rhetoric.

5. Why can't Dick Cheney be more like Alan Keyes.
When HIS daughter came out, he disowned her.

8. That the Xtians would expose children, even young adults, to Matt Barber...
is disturbing. The man has a filthy mind and a sick obsession with deviant sexual acts.

Hell, I'd be wary of walking my dog in the same park with him.

9. They do love their logical fallacies - don't they
It's quite a leap of a sheep from gay marriage to incest.

10. The truth comes out
It's becoming clear to the Religious Reich that Bush, Cheney and Rove never really gaves two shits about them except for their votes. This should make 2012 fun to watch as they put Republican presidential candidates under closer scrutiny.

11. Where have these people been?
I wonder if Liberty Counsel uttered one peep about Mr. Cheney’s predilection for torture? I’d bet a nickel they didn’t. Curious how torturing people to death elicits less of a response from Liberty Counsel than the notion that someone might look favorably on a gay relative.
