How long is it before Fox News claims that Bush was inaugurated on Sept 12, 2001

Since they love to claim he kept us safe for 7 years. And if anyone tries to challenge that fact on the air they will be called a traitor.

has even one "threat" been documented with facts? If I recall correctly, nearly every incident Bush pointed to ended up being a farce and not a legitimate threat at all.

I honestly don't know that I would have blamed Bush if another attack had occurred...nah, that's not true. The carelessness and blatant lies which led us to Iraq, the plundering by Halliburton et al, have not made us safe, at home or abroad.

I kind of equate an attack (one which we were NOT warned about in advance as we were about 9/11) with a rogue asteroid hitting the Earth.

We weren't hit by a huge asteroid in the last seven years. I don't give Bushco kudos for that.

The first 8 months of GWB's (P)residency HAVE all but been erased from the historical record, including (especially) that one particularly fateful PDB. Which, of course, makes 9/11 all Clinton's fault. :eyes:

Limbaugh was calling this "Obama's Depression" immediately after the November election. Believe me, if the U.S. had been attacked within President Obama's first week in office the GOP (Fox News, CNN, NPR, MSNBC, NBC, C-Span, CBS, ABC) would have characterized it as a failure on Obama's part.

What would Wolf Blitzer say? He would say "But Republicans are criticizing President Obama saying his policies made us vulnerable to this attack." and "Boener and Gingrich are saying Obama is unfit to be commander and chief." "And stay tuned, there is more criticism coming in every minute."

7. Saying Bush deserves credit for keeping us safe for seven years is like saying

the Hindenburg deserves credit for keeping it's passengers aloft for 99% of their trip.
