If right wingers are going to act like fascists...
Then there is no reason not to deploy anti-fascist tactics against them.

You've seen it and heard about it...
People like Jim Adkisson and Dannie Roy Baker killing innocent people for the right wing revolution
People like Francisco Nava and Ashley Todd making false flag attacks, trying to defend their dying ideology
Republicans like Steve King and Michele Bachmann making conspiracy theories about Obama and Democrats in general
Racists at the tea parties and more and more right wingers defending right wing extremists (Look at that DHS report they got retracted)

If they want to push this country to the brink, we have to push... not back necessarily, but push them away.

If they're going to act like fascists, it's time to use anti-fascism against them.

"No Platform" - Very successful anti-fascist tool.

No Platform is a political position that actively opposes allowing alleged fascists to express their views in public. It was also the name of a British militant anti-fascist group formed in 2001. This group appears to be defunct, with some anarchist former members helping to form a similar group, Antifa.

A No Platform order is an instrument used by groups such as trade unions and students' unions to refuse a platform of any kind to certain groups or particular ideas. No Platform orders are most often used against ideas deemed to be racist, anti-Semitic, homophobic or fascist. Such an order means that certain groups or individuals are prevented from addressing trade union or student union events. The British National Union of Students has applied the no-platform policy to fascist organisations such as the National Front and Combat 18 and has, in the past, also applied this policy to Islamist extremists such as Hizb ut-Tahrir, the Al-Muhajiroun and the Muslim Public Affairs Committee UK.

How it can be used in the US - Demand balance, just say you don't want people like Karl Rove and Ann Coulter to speak at events, let your freedom of speech clash with their freedom of speech.

Give no platform for their lies, give no platform for their talking points, give no platform for anything they say. Do this on the Internet, in the discussion boards, on the blogs, at speaking forums, etc.

No platform for them.

1. How un-American
I would expect such from the Republican side but not from us. Freedom of Speech means letting even the most repugnant thoughts be put forward. It is up to us to counter with reason and rationale but not to take away their rights..

3. Let everyone have their say.....
But that doesn't mean to let the Neocons bully and control like they have for 9 years.

The whole Rick Warren thing and reaching out to the Repukes and wishy-wasy Pelosi and Reid, was a complete waste of time. Putting Geithner in charge and giving gobs of money to the banks.. a very large mistake.

The Repukes take no prisoners. They do what they want to do and control every conversation. They are STILL controlling all the media and talking heads.

The Dems need to get tough.. and do what they have to do. Quit worrying about what the Neocons and Fox News will think.
