I'm not Catholic. I have studied the Catholic Church for a long time, although I defer to anyone who knows the inner workings better than me.

But isn't a monsignor just a supervising parish priest? Isn't that like saying "the senior pastor at my church thinks" Obama is a Muslim.

With all due respect, who cares a rat's behind what some loser middle-management priest thinks about Obama's religious affiliation? Most Catholics ignore the existence or occurrence of the Protestant Reformation, for God's sake.
