I Stand Behind The President
I don't think that not even 100 days into his presidency there is anything to criticize. In fact, I'm immensely proud of him and damn glad to have him. He is doing a tremendous job considering what was handed to him.

This is to you, Obama!
:toast:  :yourock: :applause:

2. 77 days does not a hundred make.
There's stuff to criticize, cause he sure ain't perfect.
But there's more he's done to compliment, far as I'm concerned.

5. There's definitely stuff to criticize. But lots more good to acknowledge...
let alone simply pretend it doesn't exist, and just bitch the entire time.

7. Fired Up and Ready To GO!

When I think of the other option --- John Mc C and Sarah, it is just so refreshing to see a smart family and kind family in the White House!

Thanks for the positive post.

11. John Maynard Keynes has been resurrected by President Obama
His success with the USA economy will show the whole world it's been listening to the wrong economists for almost fourty years.

13. He will be the most influential one term President in history
His greatest strength is (and will continue to be) the political capital he's spending in foreign relations and goodwill diplomacy.

BushInc destroyed American credibility abroad - Obama will restore it.

20. Who knows

Not necessarily. I wouldn't be surprised to see some serious Democratic infighting as the economy keeps tanking. And with trillions going out to the private sector - at a time when we most need a 'socialistic' shock to the system - things could change dramatically in the next couple of years.

21. Apparently *you* know.

Which was my issue with your post in the first place.

I don't buy the "you can't blame Obama because it's only been X days" but neither do I buy the "Welp, that's it, all is lost. His presidency is over." argument.

By those standards, FDR would have been a failure too. The 2nd New Deal with much further than 1st and in his first years in office, FDR was criticized for *failing to nationalize the banks*.

22. Point
If Obama turns it around and rethinks things - does a 180 on corporate giveaways and instead invests in social safety nets - then yes he could be a two termer.
