9/11 victims’ kin seek release of secret documents
By Joe Dwinell

Three families who lost loved ones in the 9/11 terrorist attacks head to court today to plead with a federal judge to release a million pages of documents detailing the mass murder of nearly 3,000 Americans.

Those secret papers, one Bay State family member told the Herald, are “so bad you won’t believe it.”

“It was out control,” Paul Keating, 45, said of security on Sept. 11, 2001, including at Logan International Airport in Boston where two ill-fated jets left on a collision course with infamy.

“My mother went through the most public murder you could imagine . . . and I’ve been putting up with this crap for seven years,” Keating said of his refusal to settle his case out of court.

4. I'm not one of the conspiracy crowd
but I'd sure want all the documents released. There's a lot that has never been told. And I'm amazed at how much of a pass Bush got on this by the MSM. I'm sure they would've never given a Dem that kind of pass.

8. Maybe you are one.
Some of that crowd just blows outrageous smoke for the RW. It keeps the RW followers thinking that the "other side" indeed thinks outrageous things.

"See!" they can say as they supply the dungeon's talking points.

And you, not being a RWinger end up in the "other side" category. So, in essence, to them, RWers, and swing voters, you are one of the conspiracy crowd.

17. Arguing for MORE secrecy to avoid being labeled a tinfoil hatter?
:wtf:

No, thank you very much. We need more daylight on the issue, not less

21. I've seen it in light of day, that's why I see it as rehash and innuendo.
Just repeating the same stuff over and over, like Bush's catapulting the propaganda. Just because it gets repeated/rehashed does not make it true.

And, my response remains the same: What I cannot prove nor disprove remains unnecessary because there was always enough provable stuff to hang around the R's necks.

You don't have to play all your cards, every hand. Especially when it will hurt your cause.

5. Remember when Rep. Dick Cheney smeared Sen. John Kerry as a conspiracy theory nut for IranContra
Edited on Wed Mar-25-09 12:05 PM by blm
and BCCI matters he worked to uncover for over 5 years?

Maybe you don't remember....but, it's a standard line of attack when anyone gets close to BushInc's covert operations.

6. Do you blame them?
That's generally what happens when the government hides relevant information.

12. Lets prevent a transparent 9/11 investigation
Edited on Wed Mar-25-09 12:43 PM by Juche
You are brilliant. Lets assume anyone who wants a transparent investigation into 9/11 is a conspiracy nut.

The reality is anyone who researches this info sees that endless warnings were ignored and covered up and nobody has been held accountable for any of it.

16. Well, that's obviously a reason to keep the documents secret, right?
Thanks for the relevant comment.

9. I knew this guy's mother -- she was my next-door neighbor
I was talking to her just before she went back east for a vacation. We were in the pool together and she was telling me she didn't really want to go. She wanted to cancel, but she had promised some friends she'd share a beach house with them, so she was going to go through with it. That was the last time I ever saw her.

While she was in MA, her daughter in CA was badly hurt in an accident and she was coming back to help her out, when she got on the plane at Logan.

11. wow, what a strange story
It seems she should have trusted her intuition.

There is so much information we still need...like say....why the airforce wasn't scrambled to intercept the planes? :wtf:

or how it is possible that Rumsfeld is the only person in the world that had no idea what was happening until a plane hit the pentagon? :wtf:

They think we are so stupid :grr:

14. There really should be more than three families...
...and the "Jersey Widows" demanding this kind of thing. Maybe people here are aware of other outraged and skeptical 9/11 families but it seems to me that they are few and far between. Or, of course, maybe they are just not being reported on.

19. They're not being reported on.
The general public ignorance around 9-11 is truly astounding.
