GWB had to have been really stubbornly ignorant or else trying to break the banks when he refused to hear criticism of his tax-breaks and spend like hell program for disaster.

1. He had Grover Norquist whispering into his ear

that nearly bankrupting the country was the best way to get rid of Social Security.

He was neither oblivious nor ignorant. He knew exactly what he was doing, fulfilling his class's dream about breaking ours.

2. I watched that last night. It gave me an even better understanding of

what a mess Bush made of our economy and what a challenge President Obama has in getting things straightened out. It was pretty sobering.

3. The pay-as-you-go expiration in 2002 turned the gop fools loose.

Obama is displaying an Herculean restraint in not calling out the crooks and idiots in government that ran us off a cliff and passed the wheel off before it hits the ground.

And no more traitorous Cheneys lying in public saying that deficits don't matter.

I especially liked the guy on the program who said the wars are financed by debt to China that is passed on to further US generations -borrow as you go recklessly.
