Huh? Where are the fireworks? It was such a big deal on there when Citi went below the $3 mark. What's going on, here?

Oh well.

1. old adage ... good news is no news ...
remember, they kept saying "Where's the liberal media with all the stories about the schools we're building and stuff in Iraq?" "Where's the feel-good news about this war?"

(mind you, we were rebuilding schools with U.S. taxpayer money that had been blown up by U.S. bombs, and the terrorists were blowing up because it was a big honkin' sign of "U.S." occupation ...)

2. We will do the fireworks when the $300 billion to Citibank is returned to us with 28% interest or
when Robert Rubin and his enablers are doing the perp walk out of their positions of influence in the White House and their personal fortunes are confiscated to pay for health insurance for working poor people.

3. Citi cracked $3 last week
sorry to burst your bubble.

But that's good news for me - I bought some shares back when it was around $1.50. Not much, but enough to perhaps make a few dollars off of all of this.

4. Oh well, I doubt he had the siren going on the 18th either.
Below $2 it was too cheap to pass up. Buy and hold, Citi will exist in some form or another and be worth something per share. AIG is something else that was worth buying shares when it was around .43 a share. :)

5. I bought some Fannie Mae at 59 cents
I co-worker suggested it was just way too big to go completely away.

We'll see. If I do lose all my money it's not a whole lot. Just enough for me to cry a few tears and then move on having learned my lessons.

6. It's up .18 right now. 25%

At .87

I think that one will be a long hold. It's not going away but it will take a while.
