It's being called the biggest card heist ever. Reports about it first sufaced in January, but it wasn't until late Wednesday that the scope of the crime was revealed.

Also stolen: drivers license info from people who returned items without a receipt.

1. As a category, restaurants account for the most credit card info thefts.
Saw that in a story somewhere tonight. They said it's not theft by employees who handle your card, as most people would think, but rather insecure computer systems at the restaurants. Hackers get in and swipe the info.
