Is there a forum for household hints? I have a question about a fabric stain and DU is my best

and only resource. A cushion newly upholstered in an "indoor-outdoor" fabric has been smudged just today with two small nickle sized blurs of machine oil. Its very minor but my child wants it to be perfect. Is there any product or combo that will get rid of motor oil?

3. One of the oils mentioned in your link (light sewing machine oil) is exactly
the problem. No reason why the suggestion shouldn't work. Thanks...

5. I've used "Goo Gone" before to get cooking oil out of jeans
It worked very well. I think I got it for a few bucks at the grocery store.
