Can you imagine being a Marine and being told you can't have whatever body art you want?

3. When I think of tattoos, I think of hanging pics on the wall & never being able to change them.

Doesn't appeal to me to do anything so permanent. But the military telling grown ups they can't do to their skin whatever they want strikes me as insulting and crazy.

4. I guess I don't object to reasonable limits on them, such as prohibiting

a face full of ink or in a place that isn't covered by 'normal' clothing. Surely there can be a compromise.

5. I have one...bortz would call it a tramp stamp, my hubby calls it sexy

it gives me a little pleasure to know that 1 I had the guts to do it and 2 that no one but my family knows about it and 3 my students would be suprised because I do not look like "one of those people"

I think its kind of cool
