Anyone else think a charity haircut could raise anything?
You may or may not have seen my other post about my hair and that led to my thinking of a video of a cut if (with DU's auspices) a pool to see me take a Conair shear and knock it all off.

I am thinking any easily left leaning verifiable charity contribution would get so far to the goal and the whole bag of hair to the high bidder as long as it is to a verifiable charity with some king of confirmation.

Maybe I have just had one glass of wine too many, but I feel that me cutting my hair on the internet might help more people than I can on my own.

Thoughts? Or am I nutz?

2. Yes, but they didn't have the hair that I have.
Halfway down the back for a guy isn't as common.

8. I knew a woman who grew her hair really long for it and then had short hair for a few years
I wonder if she's repeated the cycle.

I'm in need of a haircut but I wouldn't want to force my winter-weather-beaten-split-ends on anyone!

9. Yeah. I remember watching a episode of Emergency Vets
with that dude with the long hair (he's the radiologist) and he donated more than half of his hair to Locks of Love.

Great charity!

4. Nutz is such a strong word, Rider
I think perhaps tipsy, or eccentric would be far more fair.

OTOH, stranger things have happened on Ebay.

7. Sorry, Fovea.
I fill the bill in Nutz respects. I would be dishonest to incline anyone to believe otherwise. :)

16. I'm over here, too,
encouraging you to do it.

I'm sure there are places that would be thrilled to get your hair. See if you can whomp up sponsors, although in this economy, I don't know who could afford to contribute.

But, at the very least, your locks will go somewhere where they'll make a great difference.

See? All the signs are pointing towards "Cut". The universe wants you to cut your hair and help someone in the doing............
