Looks like Ed Schultz is being GROOMED for the 10pm MSNBC slot
He's on now, wearing a suit on the set of 1600. Basically how they started grooming Rachel Maddow for her show. Actually, Rachel made them sit up and take notice.

1. I've actually enjoyed listened to ol' Ed of late. I would like to see that
slot filled rather than re-running Obermann.

not that I mind seeing him twice its just too soon! I have trouble staying asleep. It's a curse. For laughs sometimes I watch Faux news, usually O'Reilly.....then I have REAL trouble going back to sleep and could kick myself!

5. Most people in this country would like Ed.
He is a little too far to the right on some issues for my tastes, which would probably still put him left-of-center, but, I do enjoy his unfaltering support for Labor.

He is also a good spokesman for responsible firearm ownership.

13. Step Away From
the TV - three times is too much.

Or at least check out some other channel - PBS, History perhaps.

8. And he hosted the program earlier in the week for one night
He did a very good job that night. Even kept Lars Larsen from monopolizing the panel.

11. I hope Big Eddie does wind up on MSNBC!
.
.

If you've ever been fortunate enough to attend one of his townhall meetings, you know how passionate he is about President Obama..

Plus, he's open and honest about how his wife, Wendy (an RN) opened his eyes years ago when he "was" a conservative.

He used to be pretty good about chatting live on his website, but as he's gotten busier.. he doesn't host live chats as often, but it's fun when he does.

In the very early stages of the primary, he was a Hillary supporter and it was fun arguing with him about why Obama would win! ..He jumped on the Obama bandwagon long before he won the primary though.. probably in part because the majority of his listeners were already there.

I think he'd do a great job with his own show!

17. I'd like to see Ed get a gig on MSNBC
I think he could be the real blue collar populist who could attract blue collar, hunting and fishing, football loving types. It was great to here him go off on health insurance costs and backing unions and card check!
