Hopefully, this is the e-mail for Virg Bernero, mayor of Lansing, MI.
Because I simply want to say that your interview on Fox News recently was EVERYTHING I have wanted from Democratic leadership for 28 years. A simple defense of the working class! And that's what NEVER, EVER comes from the Democratic Leadership.
Thank You. Thank You. Thank You.

As a blue-collar worker, I am finished having power elites tell me that I should be ashamed because I haven't been driven down enough.

That I am the cause of all of America's problems because I haven't quite been pushed into a tin-roof shanty atop a garbage pile like the rest of the world's workers.

I am sick of talking heads on TV refusing to even notice that America had it's best, richest years when the Labor Unions were strongest. That sending the middle class down the tubes eventually takes even Fox News anchors, too (just a year or two later is all).

And I am especially sick of Wall Streeters being handed the keys to the Treasury, people who produce NOTHING, repair NOTHING, invent NOTHING. People who merely scheme and shift other people's money around. Tear apart other's work for the profit of a handful. All while people like me are told to hang OUR heads in shame and prepare to be sent downward once again.

Please, Mr. Mayor, if that new President of ours should come to visit Lansing in the near future, show him what you showed us. Give him the courage to break free and speak the whole truth. I think it's in him. He just needs someone like you to help him find it.
