7. During his last re-election, many people thought he had dementia of some sort
based on several appearances he made...and they still voted for him :(

He can't even SAY Tim Geithner's name! I couldn't
either at first, but now that he's been mentioned
on TV THOUSANDS OF TIMES, you'd think the guy could
spit it out ...

BTW, I think Roland Burris is doing a great job
as presiding officer (he's obviously served in
state government and knows parliamentary procedure).

11. He's a puppet. A mannequin. He's scripted and (ill-)rehearsed.
He's long past having any real participation in formulating his stance. It's staffed and manipulated. He's a Stepford Senator.

15. This quote explains it all...
In October, 2004 Bunning told reporters "Let me explain something: I don't watch the national news, and I don't read the paper. I haven't done that for the last six weeks. I watch Fox News to get my information."

16. Even with no opponent determined yet - Bunning is at 51% for his re-election in 2010
If we can get someone to run against him that can speak complete sentences we might be able to knock off Bunning.

one of whom is a federal judge in ky. david bunning was voted as "not qualified" by the ABA ( american bar assoc.) but his daddy ram rodded him through to get the posistion. i live in his district, there were several more qualified judges for this post. and this is a LIFETIME appoinment! it was a few years ago when he got the post, and he was in his early 30's
