Ohio judge upholds part of "Funeral Protest" law, but knocks down another.

That nutty Phelps group planned a protest near where I live but then didn't show up -- largely, I think because a biker group let it be known they'd be there to keep them away from the burial. But at the time, I think the Phelps folks said the announcement they were going to protest accomplished their goal.

2. This is good. My boss' nephew is being buried today.

Died in Iraq last Wednesday. I did a little tribute/obit in my Journal for him.

The Patriot Guard Riders were suppose to be there to provide escort. The funeral and burial is in either eastern Kansas or western Missouri, I forget which.

The nephew's father is an assistant police chief of a Houston suburb, so it wouldn't surprise me if there were some extra cops around if Phelps (may meet Jesus soon, preferably via a flaming car wreck) and his minions deside to make an issue of it.
