Imagine a room full of Lynn Cheneys
When you hear assholes like John Cornyn bloviating about Marc Rich and "The Foundation's Donors" and shining sunshine on "the process", know who the audience is.

The Repubics have officially entered WeGotNuthingVille. They're left with the right wing pajamahadeen and hateful, rich, white people.

Like Lynn Cheney.

Imagine a fundraising politician working a whole room full of Lynn Cheneys. The only way to appeal to 'those people' is to spew all manner of hate against the Evil Liberal Far Left. Which would be us.

So, yeah ............ they're down to their last best hope ...... hateful dowagers with more money in their purses than warmth in their hearts.

4. Imagine walking into a PTA meeting with a room full of Lynn Cheneys
or Lynn Cheney wanna-bes

I'm still hearing from y kid about the sullen, bitter attitude of many of the administration and teachers at his high school. I get to go for a meeting tonight with all those bitter, whiny women tonight.

Not looking forward to this.

7. I watched Frontlines Lee Atwater story last night
There was a part in the documentary when Robert Novak says that Republicans believe in nothing but power and it is harder for Democrats because they believe in what they are saying.

That pretty much sums up what Republicans have left, a thirst for power but no beliefs in what they are saying. Rovian style tactics without a message. We have just survived a period in our history of a group of people that didn't care about anything except their power and money.

8. That's really true. Atwater was a total shit. He was having nooners with
Ellen Williams, a honcho with the Rep party of Kentucky all during the election and, probably, while his wife was pregnant, and chatting up Bible thumpers at the same time.

Only blind lust for power can reconcile that kind of thing.
