Codepink and Jon Stewart... Food for thought...
I'm not happy with Stewart at all. I have never been impressed with Codepink's choices. Seems foolish to make Democrats look foolish when the problem is Republicans.

But the food for thought is this: When Stewart and Codepink start hammering at Democrats, it's at least gratifying to know that the reason is simple: Because day by day and hour by hour, the perception is increasing that the Democrats are back in control!

Watch it continue to rise to a fever pitch as scandal after scandal continues to undermine the Bush administration, which will further weaken and destroy any Republican hopes in 2008.

The hits against Democrats are ill-chosen, to be sure, but it shows that the public is beginning to see that the Republicans are on the way out for a long, long time.

1. Code Pink is OK
When they get flack it always sounds to me like..."You people out there expressing your opinion are ruining democratic values of free speech for the rest of us."

4. Dems have been fucking up for years now.
Just because they're in office is no reason to pretend otherwise.

How soon we forget.

6. the problem is Republicans
Well....yes. However, to rely on pointing out the mote in their eyes while letting others off is harmful in the long haul. Perfection is always a moving target and none of us will ever reach it but to give up on its search is dangerous.
