Is anyone else gonna be drunk by Noon?
I made a special trip to the liquor store this evening, got a nice bottle of champagne. I'm going to crack it open at 10am and I'll be feeling no pain by Noon. Probably cryin' like a baby.

Anybody else gonna get smashed early?

4. Technically, I have to work. But my assistant has the day off...
so I may be "working" at home, or at the bar that's the unofficial Dem HQ in these parts.

12. Drunk already, but...
I will be sober for the inauguration. I'd advise waiting until Bush shows his backside to break out the booze. You'll want to savor this completely sober, believe me.

13. No, gotta work.
But...

My extremely Republican employer in Cincinnati is setting aside 2-1/2 hours at midday in the largest conference room for employees to watch on a movie-sized screen. Pretty cool; they didn't do this for Bush 43-A or 43-B.
