Shoppers photograph mice in Wal-Mart donut case
Health inspectors say they found mouse droppings at Valley Wal-Mart

11:08 AM Mountain Standard Time on Wednesday, March 21, 2007

By 3TV Staff, azfamily.com

Valley health inspectors say they have found evidence of mice in a Valley Wal-Mart's doughnut case.

Three shoppers say they used their camera phone to take a picture of a rodent last Saturday in a doughnut case at the Wal-Mart near 16th Avenue and Bethany Home Road.

The shoppers say there were at least three rodents in the case.

The health department says the shopper's complaint is the fourth they’ve received about rodents at the store.

1. As if I could possibly need another reason...
not to shop at WalMart.... (I don't and I won't)

Undoubtedly the PR crew are on red alert... Guys, you just might consider cleaning up the problem instead of launching another PR offensive...:eyes:

2. Can't blame the mice.
But you can blame the Wal-Mart. When Wal-Mart opened a mega store her in rural TN, I thought I could do my food shopping along with getting all the odds and ends in one place. Surprise, surprise, the bakery bread was tough and chewy. The produce went bad in a few days. The frozen vegetables had freezer burn. The sirloin steaks were full of grissel. I went back to my regular grocery store. The bad food at Wal-Mart was costing me too much.

3. The wife and I were eating breakfast at a Waffle House
A few months ago.

We watched a roach crawl across the counter and dive headfirst into the ice bin...

We notified the waitress and she made a minor effort to find the roach and then just covered the bin.

It was kind of hard to finish breakfast after that. :(

4. First mistake: Eating at a Waffle House
My god man, what were you thinking?

They need the roaches to clean up the mouse droppings. At the Waffle House it's called "The Cycle of Life."

6. We once watched roaches crawl up the wall
of an International House of Pancakes.

Never have spotted any critters or bugs at a Waffle House, however.
