Try to watch Frontline and weep and ache for fellow Americans.
The show was on our PBS affiliate at 9 EST. We were transfixed. It is an utter judgement on the failings of the Bush administration, right on down the line. It is an embarrassment that Americans get treated - and continue to be treated - in such a fashion. The woman who created this documentary is a treasure - she is a hero.

This show demands to be watched. You can see it on the PBS Internet site if you missed it on the Teevee.

Watch it. And cry.

2. That we tolerate it..
.. that the oppressed tolerate it..

speaks to the fantastic success of hate
and the propaganda machine that have
together established the fixed memes
of rugged individualism and free marketism.

Until these memes are dismantled, and hate
is seen for what it is, nothing will change.
