1. I'm going to a fundraiser next week
I'm trying to get permission to have donation cards sent to the place where we are meeting.

Bear with me, Andy takes a while to answer his email.

3. Well, it still needs to be cured.
Hold off? I'm sure the Am. Cancer Society always appreciates and needs support.

4. Good! Next, can you talk to Skinner...
since this is his website, and see how he wants to proceed?

There are about ten disparate efforts going on right now, and I think that Skinner should be involved in the decision of how DUers proceed.

Thanks for checking on this.

9. That's probably the smart way to go
I had a sort of an out of the box idea about literally finding a family to help through a medical situation (like one with a child with cancer who lacks insurance) but I would have no idea how to go about doing something like that.

It would be nice to see DUers get together and pull that off at some future time though!

7. So did I.
Since Elizabeth is so supportive of John's campaign, I thought that donating to their fight would bring a bigger smile to their faces. I'm sure that seeing a surge in donations after their appearance will let them know how much everyone is pulling for them on all counts...her health and their campaign. Bless them both!

6. Why?
Lots of people have breast cancer.

About The Breast Cancer Site

http://www.thebreastcancersite.com/clickToGive/home.faces?siteId=2

Your click on the "Fund Free Mammograms" button helps fund free mammograms for women in need — low-income,
inner-city and minority women whose awareness of breast cancer and opportunity for help is often limited.
Your click is paid for by site sponsors, and mammogram funding is provided to clinics throughout
the U.S. through the efforts of the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
