Obama said during the election that he wanted scalple to deal with the federal budget- well now he's got one (as does Pelosi).

Time to start using it on some pet projects in Utah and in other states whose representatives repeatedly get in the way of economic recovery.

And its time to start looking at where its most expedient to appropriate money from the stimulous packages.

Both of Utah's Senators vote for the financial bailout, but voted down the Big 3 because they wanted the cuts to the UAW to happen in NOW rather than in 2011 when their contract expires.

And I'm one who thought that some sort of intervention for the banks was necessary. But not one that just lets bankers get away with big bonuses, while accusing car workers of being overpaid.
