when did Harriet Miers supposedly stop working for the administration? Did she ever stop?

on edit.. checked wikipedia:
"On January 4, 2007, she submitted her resignation from the position of White House Counsel, effective January 31 "

Miers and Sampson discuss telling Bush and "Karl's Shop" - but then nothing else until the 4th of December and then no mention of telling Bush/"Karl's Shop"

But the email gap began on November 15, 2006 12:08 PM. The gap ended on December 4, 2006 6:12 PM.

Would that mean that there was an 18 and a half day gap in the tapes email correspondence? ;)

17. LOL Yes...but McNulty didn't reply until Dec 5th to one of the emails

he got on the 4th - at least the date of reply states the 5th - so let's stick with the 18 number

there is an unexplained 18 (and a half) minute gap in the tapes that Nixon had to turn over to Congress. Pretty much sealed Nixon's fate.

31. The "chance to serve" spin is bogus on its face...

... since no specific replacement candidates pre-existed necessitating the specific replacement of the USAs summarily sacked. (e.g. the pre-arranged replacements were citizens of the states in question)

So, since no replacement candidates had been identified in advance, *any* USAs could have been sacked. Therefore, the question remains... why *these* attorneys? And why not others?
