when he was huddled with Kissinger praying to the pictures in the WH." Asked why * "just doesn't quit and go away."

1. That was good.
I think that a lot of Americans who are old enough to remember the final days of the Nixon administration were amazed at Bush's ability to channel Tricky Dick's spirit.

4. You bet. I remember them well.
The 'nondenial denials' which was a term coined during that time because of all the shuffling, evading, and lying that went on in the White House. I was 18 the day Nixon resigned, and I remember watching the spectacle on TV with my friends.

It was a day that we celebrated.
