So we are now at the gates of hell... brought to you ONCE AGAIN
by Republican Ideology

The DOW... always a late indicator, has taken yet another historic dive...and this time nobody knows where the bottom is

We have these people going no help to the big three predicated on pure ideology... the same that brought us the DOW

We now have DEFLATIONARY pressures

And people are just now figuring it is time to panic

No...it is time to organize

the hell that awaits us will change the country for ever...perhaps it is the death knelt of the American
Empire

But it isn’t time to panic, but to plan

1. The gates of hell are often paved with those of good intentions..but
this time...it greed, greed and more greed...

Sometimes within the chaos, some good evolves..
.....perhaps we as a human race can find this good now.

4. Days and days of Republicans bashing the auto industry. They keep digging.
This whole thing sits at the feet of the Republican party, the party whose ideas have been repudiated by reality in addition to the electorate.

The good news: greater glory for Obama when he fixes it.

5. You know at this point I trust the AMERICAN people will fix it
one way or the other

People forget we were this close to revolution in '32

We are there again

And I don't believe in the good graces of politicos any more

And yes I voted for Obama...but not because I see him as a messiah

But circumstances will force him to go to the left, or face the Murican people

7. As usual, I can only say I appreciate your post.

:hi:

We may disagree on the finer points, but in terms of the big picture, I must agree.

9. What do you think is going to happen?
I'm not wearing rose colored glasses here, but I am worried, and have been for some time, so what do you see?

11. The most rossy scenario is that the big three manage to hold on
until they can get that bridge loan... If they manage this until the next president we will see a BAD recession

Worst case... the three fail... wiht upwards of 14 million jobs gone between direct and indirect links to the auto industry...

To be honest this is the worst group of managers EVAH... but in the current economy chap11, the way to break the unions, will quickly become Chapter 7

Oh and we might be lucky enougb and just get something in-between.

But I'm expecting very rough years ahead... and perhaps even violence. People WANT change and even a New Deal... if this does not happen since the republicans are currently salting the earth... don't know what to expect

Suffice it to say we came this close to open revolution in the 1930s, and we are this close to a hot civil war
