BALTIMORE - The US Conference of Catholic Bishops is permanently cutting off all funding for ACORN in the wake of an embezzlement scandal and allegations of voter registration fraud and political partisanship.

2. Have the bishops registered their church's with the state sex offender directory yet?
Just wonderin...I mean, we wouldn't want them to get a free pass after so many creative years of deliberate coverups...

They want a religious war to impose tyranny - it seems like it more and more with each day's news. That church bribed people with money after ruining their lives.

4. From the comments section....
Couldn't have said it better myself:

Just gotta love the American Catholic Bishops.

During the past presidential election, they did their best to defeat the Democratic candidate. Still, the majority of American Catholics ignored their hollow words, and voted for Obama.

In the past, they did their best to ignore, and cover up the abuse by pedophile priests. The Bishops most times attempted to discredit the victim rather than eliminate the abuser. Only when the civil authorities became involved, did any of the bishops admit wrong doing. Even then, the bishops hired lawyers to prevent the perpetrators from coming to justice.

The myriad financial scandals amongst the various dioceses are amazing, and likewise covered up.

Now, the Catholic Conference remains true to their previous record. Rather than aid the poor and down trodden to achieve political power, the Bishops attempt to destroy their vote.

Step by step. Inch by inch. The American Catholic Bishops continue to make themselves more irrelevant.

The American Catholic Bishops have forgotten the words of the Sermon on the Mount, and now follow those of Caiphus.
