2. I disagree vehemently with him, his religion and his politics

When I lived in Minnesota, although he could give off a "comforting" presence, there is nothing really "sexy" or exciting about him.

But he is well educated, speaks well and has above average intelligence. He would have been a far better pick for McCain on intelligence alone. And he IS an evangelical, so the wingut religious freaks would have been happy with him.
