Harvard University political history scholar Barbara Kellerman is a tool
Kellerman, author of the book "Bad Leadership: What It Is, How It Happens, Why It Matters," noted that Bush has not had luck on his side for the past eight years.

"He has been a quite unlucky president. Certain things happened on his watch that most people don't have to deal with -- a 9/11, a Katrina, the financial crisis, being three obvious examples," she said.

"And yet they happened on his watch. He is being blamed," she said.

Yeah, it was just his bad luck that financial crisis occurred...It wasn't his inane policies

The public's outrage was not at the Hurricane, it was at his inaction and his indifference

9/11 helped his standing. His inept handling of everything post 9/11 was the problem.

1. Such bad luck for Wilson and Roosevelt to have major world wars on their watch.
Should I mention Lincoln? Kellerman sounds like a majorly shallow Barbie.

2. Indeed, mention Lincoln...
Bush isn't worthy to carry Lincoln's sandals, as it were...

3. She teaches at Harvard eh?
This is right up there with another quote I saw today. Some economist said about the rising rate of foreclosures due to unemployment-the quote was "It's hard to pay the mortgage when you don't have a job." nah---REALLY? I never would have figured that one out!

5. Not knowing anything is not an excuse
Terrorism was nothing new.

Disaster planning is nothing new.

Financial Engineering and Deregualtion is nothing new.

Unless of course, you think the only think you need to know is that you love America.

I am puzzled that people do not think it is important to know things, and that not knowing things is not an excuse.

6. 9/11 didn't happen because Bush had bad luck. It happened because his judgment is defective
Dubya was given many chances to roll-up the al-Qaeda attack cells during the summer of '01, but he rejected every request to do so made by the CIA. Not bad luck - defective leadership.
