I just watched him on MSNBC and he was extremely eloquent, intelligent, quick, and had a sense of history and practical idealism.

I like this cat. Anyone know anything about him?

1. I second that.
What I noticed is that he refused the usual framing (like blacks vs. whites) and instead presented a more realistic picture of how things actually work. I thought he was brilliant and insightful and honest -- attributes rarely seen on the TV among the talkers or among pols generally.
