I heard this confirmed today watching an overseas channel. The prison doctor confirmed this. In a video, McCain claimed that he was threated very well.

Is the truth somewhere in the middle?

4. I'm sure he got his injuries from the plane crash.
In fact, I'm sure I remember McCain running off a list of injuries he got from the crash. That's my recollection, anyway.
