6. As an atheist...

...it was my pleasure to cast my first vote in my new home state against Dole. Her ad displayed multiple layers of crap. For example, why should anyone turn down money from atheists? We happen to be citizens, too. Hell, some of us have even served in the military! Off to Bob and the Viagra, former Senator Liddy Dole!

I'm so happy to see this Rove-esque divide-and-conquer crap working exactly against the repubs. The voters should be able to see right through it, and in this case that appears to be the case.

Atheists and agnostics are citizens. The repubs have been slowly trying to make the name of every other group an epithet. "Liberals", "Atheists", "Socialists", "Minorities", "Women's rights defenders", etc,

They don't seem to realize that if they keep clipping away at their definition of "good Americans" eventually there will be nobody left to vote for them. That's as it should be.
