Australian news: Joe the plumber eyes book deal, political career
JOE the plumber is making the most of his time in the spotlight and there is even talk of a country music career.

Joe - real name Samuel Wurzelbacher - became a household name when he challenged Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama over plans to raise taxes on those earning over $US250,000 ($370,000).

He is now a mini-celebrity with possible plans to write a book or go into politics.

To handle the avalanche of requests for media appearances, he has signed with Nashville public relations firm The Press Office....

No wonder "Joe the Plumber" aka Sam...is a republican, he's simply out for all he can get like the rest of them. What an absolute joke. Just like the entire McCain - Palin campaign. I hope sanity prevails and we get Obama elected. The American election affects all of us, like it or not.

Is this a joke? Just because he asked what about people who make over $200,000 all of a sudden there is a chance he is going to get into politics? No wonder America is in the hole it is in now.

5. Are you kidding? That poor schmuck
is going to have a very hard landing back in reality the day after an Obama victory. His entourage will vanish and dun him for payment and neither Palin nor Magoo will return his calls. The book deal will not result in an advance and the ghost writer will vanish.

Come on, folks, we know how the right treats folks when they're no longer useful.

2. We have very high standards in our political arena or haven't you
been paying attention? The list of republican scandals in the last 8 years should leave you with little doubt as to why they are better at ruinning the country.

out of his mouth was a lie. "I'm planning on buying a business that makes $250,000 a year."
