I just told Skinner why I won't be on DU election day.

"I am going to help reduce DU traffic on election night by not visiting the site.
Most of the news I can get on line elsewhere,
most of the comments I can read the next day.
Anything I would post would not be as important as the election results.

I cannot believe how much time I stay online at DU.
Mr. D. is talking about an intervention.
And so, for DU's sake, I will go thru cold Turkey withdrawal,
if it will help someone else use the site that day.

Even tho I am a donor till May 09,
I am going to donate again on my birthday, Nov. 8.
We always give a gift on our own birthdays, and this year DU is the recipient.

However, "election day" ends at midnight, so I will try to get in and see what y'all have been up to while I was gone.

I'm holding signs outside local precinct polling place for part of the day and I'm hoping I can fix my new/old computer in time for election night, after the polls close....
