Good heavens. Michele Bachmann's comments were misread!

All this fuss about nothing, apparently.

In her interview with Matthews, Bachmann also said, "Barack Obama didn't have a mild association with Bill Ayers, he had a very strong association with Bill Ayers." She then went on to say, "I'm very concerned that he may have anti-American views."

Bachmann appeared on a WCCO-TV show earlier Sunday and stated, "I'm not saying that Obama's views are anti-American. That was a misreading of what I said."

So glad she cleared that up. We'll have to be more careful to not misread her actual words. Or any of the other words that oozed out of her mouth.

I suppose she wants us to believe she meant the Bill Ayers may have anti-American views. If that's what se meant, why was her follow up to that statement to demand that the press investigate members of Congress to determine which ones and good Americans and which ones aren't. After all, Mr. Ayers is not a member of Congress, but President-in-waiting Obama is.

By the way, is Michele's resume up-to-date? It might be tough to find a job in this recession, even for a former member of Congress.
