2. OK -- here's what I got out of it

-- She was covert.
-- She had undertaken covert missions abroad in the last five years
-- She did not recommend her husband. Her only role is that she was asked by her boss to ask him when she got home from work if he would come to a meeting
-- The outing caused her to lose her choosen career and wasted all her training.

Repub spin per Rep Tom Davis (R) is -- She was covert, but there is no evidence that the White House did not know she was covert. (Man do I not buy that). Therefore it is probably the CIA's fault that she was outed.
