Ehm, the white tie dinner/roast , with the cardinal in the center of
mcCain/Obama.....

Was the cardinal thinking:

"Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right - here *I am* - stuck in the middle with you!*z?

Lotsa 'power' was going on in that room ..... not all of it 'heavenly', imo

1. If you don't believe me, talk with Jackie O......oh wait, you can't
why did she marry Mr. Onassis anyway? Protection, perhaps?

2. Ha. But glad you mentioned the room
The atmosphere of the room came across our television screen as really surreal. A bunch of rich elites all sitting around joking and being pals. As if what this country is suffering through matters not one whit in that room.

4. Did you notice the guys sitting behind the speakers"
The old guy back in the "top tier" couldn't stop eating his "candy-bar" with his little pinky up in the air......

And the 40-something guy who was visible ove the speaker's right shoulder, although he was 'amused' by Obama's comments' was totally amused/aroused by Senator mcCain......high hilarity!

3. It's more ironic than that...

Al Smith was one of those involved in the plot to overthrow FDR. He was also a JP Morgan "insider".

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Business_Plot

The full story is in a book called The Plot to Seize the White House, by Jules Archer. http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article13906.htm

A reporter named John Spivak also wrote a lot about it.

See also War Is A Racket, by the man the plotters tried to recruit to carry it out, Maj. General Smedley Butler.

5. Nice
I thought Al Smith was a nasty character but didn't think the Al Smith they were recognizing was that Al Smith. Goes to show the elite inhabits a much different world with much different morals.

6. they kinda made me nauseated
they were so vapid, nothing but a party for who's amusement?
It looked like a decadent party in Rome all the rich snots there, being catered to , self absorbed, decadent, giggling, rich pieces of shit without a care of the world outside their little clique.

Fucking psychopaths they are ugly no matter what they do or how 'socialized' they are.it was like watching a bunch of tapeworms co-mingling congregating in someones colon..
