The little circle goes round and round, I think I'm going to scream.. Not Tonight, please. I need MSNBC. I've been spoiled these past few nights.

2. go to msnbc,com -- they'll have it, and so will cnn.com
Every so often I have the whirly circle thing when I'm on channelsurfing.net. When that happens, it never seems to get right, so I just go somewhere else -- you need to, too! :pals:

8. Sucks to be a Linux user
If you run most flavors of linux the streams from CNN use Windows media, I hate when that happens.

7. They MIGHT cover the post-debate coverage online -- so all we can do is try,
and if they don't try channelsurfing again, and if that doesn't work, trust in our beloved fellow DUers to post videos of it here asap.

3. If you are on a Mac, download these launchers for CSPAN TV
http://homepage.mac.com/alfredo_tomato/FileSharing21.html

You can always get CSPAN video from their site, or you can watch the CNN or MSNBC streams from their sites. If you have a TV, PBS will carry the debate.

9. Won't work tonight either, any other sites like this one?
Has someone somewhere decided MSNBC at prime time was not for us?

10. You can watch Olbermann and Maddow on the MSNBC site.
They don't go live, but they have that night's show up within the hour typically. So while you'd be watching Maddow live, you can watch Olbermann taped.

(Olbermann)

Frankly, I don't blame MSNBC. I doubt they get any revenue or ratings credits from channelsurfing or other, similar, websites. Before people start screaming about greedy corporations, understand that the only reason Olbermann or Maddow have any leverage is because they are getting good ratings. Scenarios that bypass their ability to attract ratings means we see LESS Olbermanns and Maddows out there. Besides, the MSNBC site is free. A short ad or two is all that typically appears.
