it's useful to them that the situation is not simple, but rather complicated. Until every nuance gets nailed down, they will be able to shout accusations without clear rebuttals being possible.
The fact is NONE of the so-called false registrations could or would ever lead to one vote being cast. Will Mickey Mouse show up at the precinct and cast his vote and thus swing the election to Obama?
NO!
Are ACORN volunteers REQUIRED to turn in all registrations gathered, including obvious practical jokes and false names?
Yes. It is not up to them to verify voters. They must let others do that, and of course those folks turn up duds.
Are Republicans turning the mere existence of the duds (whether or not they will ever lead to one vote beling illegally cast) into a scandal?
Yes. They are fooling the people and the media, in order to create an atmosphere of doubt over our elections. This is Republican fuss and fury over nothing--since they have nothing to fight Obama with except nothing.
What it means: The Pukkkes are not planning on stealing this one. The spread is too wide for them to steal it. They will concentrate on painting Obama as illegitimate without trying to prove why. They can't.
